Abby would tell you that we first met at Freshman Orientation during an ice breaker game but I would be lying if I said that I remembered that. Our friendship didn’t truly begin until later on Freshman year when my roommate, Bryson Hall, told me that Abby Hile thought I was “cute”. We both knew who each other were at this point but were only just cordial and didn’t have any real interest. But what I did know about Abby from her friends was that she was extremely outgoing and nice, and her looks weren’t too bad either. Long story short Bryson gave me her number and we started hanging out together with some of our mutual friends. I became interested pretty quick and asked her on our first date second semester Freshman year where we went to Noodles and saw Olympus Has Fallen (great flick). We both seemed to have an instant connection and it just happened that she was also going to a summer program called Kaleo that I was also going too. That summer our relationship took off and it was then that I knew that I loved her, even though it would take me a little bit longer to tell her that. Abby somehow stuck it out with me for 4 years of dating until November 11, 2017 when I asked her to marry me. She thought that I was going to be in Little Rock for the weekend but I had actually planned to be up in NWA. With the help of Olivia Petrino and Claire Heffley, who Abby thought was in Italy, I got her to Crystal Bridges where she was completely surprised that I was there and that is when I asked her to marry me. Through God’s grace everything went exactly as planned and was one of the best days of our lives. We both are super excited to be getting married on April 28th, 2017 and look forward to celebrating with all of our friends and family.
